✦ About Me
I DON'T MAKE
CLOTHES.
I MAKE STATEMENTS.
Born and raised in Dehradun. Built NorthHue from a bedroom, a laptop, and a belief that streetwear in India deserved to be better — bolder, more honest, more intentional.
✦ ABOUT ME · FOUNDER & CEO · NORTHHUE.STORE · DEHRADUN, INDIA
I grew up in Dehradun — a city that's calm on the surface but restless underneath. I was always drawn to design, to things that had a point of view. Not just things that looked good, but things that meant something.
At some point I got tired of seeing the same streetwear everywhere. Generic graphics. Mass-produced fits. Clothes that looked borrowed, not owned. I wanted something that felt like mine — and if I couldn't find it, I'd build it.
That frustration became NorthHue. What started as a personal experiment — designing tees I actually wanted to wear — turned into a brand. And that brand is still driven by the same instinct: make things that say something real.

IF YOUR CLOTHES HAVE NOTHING TO SAY, WHY ARE YOU WEARING THEM?
I'm the one who designs every piece, runs the store, handles the decisions, and sweats the details. NorthHue is a one-person operation — and that's exactly the point. Every drop comes directly from me, unfiltered by committees or trend decks.
2022
The Obsession Starts
Started teaching myself graphic design late at night. Inspired by global streetwear culture — Supreme, Palace, local Indian labels — but frustrated that nothing felt rooted in our own world.
2023
First Designs, First Drops
Created the first ten NorthHue graphics. Printed a small run, shared them with people who got it. The response was clear: there was an audience for this. Launched northhue.store shortly after.
2024
Going Full Print-on-Demand
Moved to a fully POD model — no bulk stock, no waste, no compromise on quality. Every order printed fresh. This is when NorthHue became a real brand with a real structure behind it.

Building the Brand Seriously
Dehradun on the map. New collections, sharper identity, a growing community of people who wear NorthHue because they actually believe in what it says — not just because it's affordable.
Running a brand teaches you things fast. Here are the four principles that guide every decision I make — from the first sketch of a graphic to the final shipping confirmation.
01
Design with intent
Every graphic has a reason to exist. If I can't articulate what it's about in one sentence, it doesn't make the cut.
02
Stay independent
No investors, no brand deals that compromise the direction. NorthHue answers to the people who wear it — no one else.
03
Quality over volume
I'd rather drop one great piece than five average ones. Slow, deliberate releases. Nothing leaves without passing the "would I wear this?" test.
04
Be straight with people
About what's in the product. About how it's made. About wait times. Honesty isn't a policy — it's just how I want to operate.
The name matters. North is where I'm from — the mountains, Dehradun, the quiet that sharpens your thinking. Hue is colour, tone, perspective — the idea that every person sees the world slightly differently, and that's worth expressing.
Put together: a brand that's rooted in where it came from, but open enough to mean something to anyone who's ever felt like the clothes around them weren't made for people like them.
I'm not trying to compete with the big players. I'm trying to build something that feels like it was made by a real person, for real people — one tee at a time.
